Breizh touch parade last year

Last year, on the big Champ Elysees in Paris, there was a great parade of 3000 celtic and breton singers and dancers, who really made something big out of themselves. The music, the costumes, and the unending crowds who watched it, made that september day one to be remembered.

I was also therer and filmed the parade, only a small part made it on Youtube. You can watch the short video here. Leave your comment.

Girl singing ‘umbrella’ by Rihanna. She`s better

I really think this girl showed us that this song can be performed well. I really don`t like Rihanna`s version, my reason why, but the lyrics are nice though. What do you think of her?

I write about this film, because it`s my favorite film ever. After seeing it, without knowing much about it, I thought that “this film should get all the awards in the world”, and only after looking up for information about it, I found out that it recieved more than 50 awards, here included 6 Oscars, 1 Oscar being for best film. I was happy. I think I`ve seen it over 50 times in the last 3 years or so, and i still watch it from time to time.
The film, inspired by a 1920s play called “the Little brave woman” is a musical which presents the story of a housewife, Roxie Hart, interpretd by Renee Zellweger, who after murdering the man with who she was cheating on her husband, uses this event in order to become what she had always wanted to be: famous. But things are not so easy, because life in prison is hard. But nor normally hard. Hard because there she meets Velma Kelly(Catherine Zeta- Jones), a Chicago vodeville star, who had murdered her sister and her husband, and who also tries to get back in the spotlight. As if this wasn`t enough, the two have to share Billy Flinn (interpreted by Richard Gere), who is the best criminal lawyer in Illinois. A real fight for the spotlight and for the press` attention starts, but there are other “common criminals” too who are heading there, so from one thing to another, the trial and Roxie`s life is a show for the masses. The ending is not what we would have expected, it`s better, and the last spoken sentence “We could have never done it without you!” has more value than it ever had.
The way in which the film is made is magnificant, the songs are earworms, but earworms that you will enjoy, and the acting is “worked” in the smallest detail. For me, the fact that it stars Renee Zellweger was a bonus.
There are so many people to thank for this film, from the writer who wrote the play and the people who wrote the sons back in the 1920s, to the people who made remakes, and to director Rob Marshall, who after that directed “Memoires of a Geisha”.
I can`t wait to watch it again!
